COLOUR CODES |

When adding a colour to your HTML page, whether it be for the background
of a table or page, or for a colour for your font, it's always good
to use 'hex codes'. These hex codes represent the 216 colours that
you should aways use when adding colour to your webpages. Why? Well,
although there are over 16 million other colour variants that you
could possibly choose from, the HTML colour codes detailed below are
the only ones that will be displayed exactly as you see them below,
no matter what computer or operating system a visitor to your site
may be using.
The background colour in each of the cells in the table below is the
actual representation of the colour code text label for that cell.
Test the colour codes for yourself on your own web page. Remember
to put the # before the code (So for example, if you wanted your backgroun
colour to be red, you would do this - bgcolor="#FF0000").
Please note, black, grays and white are shown in bold
red, while primary colours and complements are in
BOLD ITALIC.

to the hex html colour codes detailed above, some of you may have
noticed that some of the very colours used on this website are not
hex-friendly. Yes, in a few instances we have been naughty and so
some of our colours may not necessarily be cross-platform friendly.
For this, we loudly apologize, especially if a visitor happens to
see a hideous type of purple instead of some of the shades of blue
that we've used :)
